As a client contact point for several of our clients, I guide the team on their day-to-day work with these clients through protocol trainings and continued support.I am also engaged in Fragomen’s Knowledge Hub and Fragomen’s Compliance Team, which has to date included writing a blog post on labour shortages in Ireland and preparing a comprehensive manual on immigration compliance, which summarises and analyses the relevant immigration laws and policies. -
Project OfficerMirrem Jan 2023 - PresentThis project aims to establish how different measurements of irregular migration can address particular stakeholder needs, and map different indicators and estimates concerning the irregular migrant population and other migrants with an unstable legal status. Through a review of existing estimation methods for irregular migration, we will develop innovative approaches for measuring specific dimensions of migrant irregularity and measuring how policies are implemented. As a Research Officer, I will engage in a systematic policy analysis of current policies on irregular migration in Ireland, exploring in particular views of different stakeholders and reasons for the (non-)implementation of these policies in the past decade. -

As a founding member of IMA, I developed strategic relationships with similar local grassroots movements and liaised with politicians and other stakeholders to drive policy dialogue.To develop our movement, I also collaborated with media outlets and managed our social media platforms. I also carried out extensive research on Ireland’s humanitarian programmes such as the Irish Refugee Protection Programme (IRPP) and Irish Humanitarian Admission Programme (IHAP).

I also taught beginner-level English to adults in the evenings. As an English teacher, I collaborated with other members of the Education Team to prepare lesson plans. Given my legal background, I also supported asylum seekers with their asylum applications and coordinated with Legal Aid NGOs in Athens when required. Lastly, I actively engaged in the variety of activities Project Elea provided to the residents, such as Women's Hour, theatre and homework club.
