Ruth began her career in Sydney in 2006 in the Valuation & Advisory Services division of CBRE and became an Associate member of the Australian Property Institute in October 2007. Ruth’s valuation experience includes valuation of Institutional Grade CBD Commercial buildings, CBD Retail buildings, office/retail premises, office/retail development sites for a range of purposes including Financial Reporting, Acquisition & Disposal and Mortgage Security.In 2013, Ruth joined Dexus in their valuations team as a Valuations Manager undertaking the internal valuations and the co-ordination and review of external valuations across their office portfolios nationally.In 2018, Ruth joined Forbury as team member number 5 in the role of Product Manager, putting to use the diverse skills obtained in both owner and Agency firms. This role included product development, sales, business development, account management, training and support, including guiding the property industry with best practice modelling in Forbury Valuation Software for all types of commercial assets and retail shopping centres.In 2021, Ruth took up a contract position at Lendlease undertaking various roles such as Investment Manager of the Tcorp Portfolio, involving the co-ordination of budget and asset plans and providing support to the Valuation team. While at Lendlease, Ruth lead various process improvement initiatives including establishing a consistent valuation forecasting process for their retail and industrial portfolios.
