I am a WTO-ITC-SME Academy trained expert in international trade covering areas of WTO trade facilitation agreements, international Transport logistics, cross-border contracts, Working with foreign trade representatives, e-commerce, Trade Policy advocacy and reform, Trade Negotiations, Meeting Standards in the Agri-food Sector, Trade and Gender, Standards in Trade, how to access international markets, Geographical indications, Creating Climate resilient SMEs and others. Currently, I am pursuing my MSc in International Trade Policy and Trade Law at the Lund University of Sweden. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning from Makerere University Kampala, Uganda, and post graduate diploma in International trade policy and Law from Trade Policy Training Centre in Africa. I can handle project work related to building capacity to formulate and implement trade-related policy measures, strengthen national and regional trade systems, training on value chains required by modern economies, conducting market analysis through applied scientific research, establishing contacts with international organizations that would support local efforts to develop domestic and international trade policies and programs. This is in addition to planning and developing environmentally sustainable towns and cities to provide adequate infrastructures, designing and developing smart climate landscapes, developing pro-poor, gender-responsive, and fit-for-purpose land tools including holistic planning approaches involving key stakeholders, government authorities, academic institutions, and civil society organizations. I have worked in policy formulation, development, and assessment under the Cabinet secretariat on policies like nutrition policy, Unclaimed financial assets policy, Heritage resources policy, and the Farmers' Rights policy.
