I'm here to help make that happen! My name is Ruth Maldonado and I'm a bilingual SLP who has been seeing clients privately through my small-business, Be Brave Speech Therapy, since 2020. Prior to that, I've enjoyed working as a school-based SLP for the past decade. I've gained so much knowledge and experience working alongside awesome school-based professionals. I started Be Brave Speech Therapy (BBST) to work alongside parents and be a collaborative partner with them as they search for the best provider for their child's communication needs. I realized during the pandemic that children often make faster progress in their therapy goals when they're seen individually as opposed to group therapy. I started BBST because I'm passionate about having children make quicker progress with both individualized services and parent involvement/collaboration in all areas of therapy.
