• Improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process and organizational planning.• Manage and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Support Services (HR, IT and Finance), through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between support and business functions.• Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.• Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems and controls.• Management of agency budget in coordination with the Chief Executive Director.• Development of individual program budgets• Invoicing to clients, including calculation of completed projects.• Payroll management, including tabulation of accrued employee benefits.• Disbursement of cheques for agency expenses.• Organization of fiscal documents.• Regular meetings with Chief Executive Director around fiscal planning.• Supervise and coach office assistant on a weekly basis.

• Handling of customer follow up and inquiries over the phone and via e-mail.• Responsible for my teams smooth running of our customers • Updating of customers on daily/weekly updates on local and international shipments• Reporting on claims against damaged and lost consignments• Responsible for job costing and billing for freight shipments• Receiving and making follow up on shipments on behalf of customers• Handling Shipping Request Notice for exports, local and imports• Quoting and handling of Air, Sea and Land Freight shipments• Responsible for tracking of Freight shipments both in Imports and Exports
