The National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR) advances the civil and human rights of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their families across the country through litigation, legislation, policy, and public education.

Develop and administer all aspects of the SF LGBT Center’s direct service and community programming, including employment services, below market rate rental and homeownership education and counseling, transgender economic empowerment, small business technical assistance, homeless and marginally housed youth (TAY), volunteers, health & wellness, arts & culture and special projects on violence prevention and immigration. Supervise and develop management team and oversee programs staff.Extensive participation in fund development, particularly with corporate sponsors, foundations and government entities. Build and nurture relationships with a large, diverse network of collaborative partners, supporters and constituents in city government, business, policy, direct service and community leadership. Participate in numerous city- and state-wide collaborations, stakeholder groups and planning committees of relevance to the local LGBTQ community.Planned and led all aspects of production for Pink Party 2015, an iconic Pride Weekend street celebration in the Castro (60,000 attendees, 150+ volunteers, 80+ event staff).

Larkin Street Youth Services provides a continuum of services to homeless and high risk youth. Assisted Care/After Care provides 50-60 HIV-positive transitional-aged youth with access to housing, food service, on-site primary health care, clinical case management and group programming. Responsible for strategic development, planning, and oversight of day-to-day operations of the licensed care facility and non-licensed program, including supervision of diverse staff of health professionals and line staff.

Represented public and privately-held domestic companies on a wide range of matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, securities and corporate governance. Advised nonprofit executive leadership and boards on a variety of governance and compliance-related matters. Planned and managed the summer recruiting program for two years. Served as a member of the firm's diversity committee.

Advised multinational corporations on various tax, employee benefits, and litigation matters. Provided pro bono appellate representation for asylum seekers. Advised nonprofit organizations on 501(c)(3) and other tax-related issues.Clerkship -- New York and Paris offices, Summer 2002

Analyzed trends in state ballot initiatives related to LGBT rights and marriage; analyzed and presented data from Black Pride study and 2000 Census on Black LGBTQ families; contributed to publication on Black LGBTQ families.
