Ruth McMahon has served as Chief Operating Officer at Greenlight Family Services (formally Center for Law and Social Work) since July 2019. Ruth joined the Center for Law and Social Work as Senior Director of Development in December 2017 and was promoted to the position of Associate Director in July 2018. Greenlight's mission is to achieve the best outcomes for families, young adults, and children by providing the highest quality services. She is proud to be a part of the Greenlight leadership team and to ensure its continued growth within the state of Illinois. In 2016, Ruth founded Impactful Outcomes, a mission driven fundraising consulting business focused on assisting growing non-profit organizations with marketing and development strategies. Ruth brought her expertise and 10 years of experience as the past Chief Development Officer at Trilogy Behavioral Healthcare to her successful consulting business. Throughout her 10 year career in development, Ruth increased the visibility and viability of Trilogy and its award-winning programs through print and digital marketing, social media, private foundation funding, and increased individual and corporate revenue. Ruth brings that knowledge and experience to Greenlight. In May 2020, Ruth managed the re-branding of Greenlight Family Services.Ruth is a graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and before focusing on Development, Ruth served for many years as a Regional Sales Manager and as a Marketing Services Manager in the retail industry. Ruth currently lives in Evanston with her husband Paul and four children.
