My life and my career have trained me to find solutions to sticky problems. I take 3 days a month out from running my family’s manufacturing business and social enterprise to independently bring opposing parties in legal disputes to better outcomes, sooner and with less expense. Book a 15 minute Zoom call here: https://calendly.com/rutheverard/quick-chatLet's say that you or your client is in a dispute. You call me, and we talk about how mediation is impartial, voluntary and confidential and it gives you back control. You go back to your opponent and you suggest me as a mediator. It's going to be a single day in comfortable surroundings, and soon. 93% of mediations settle, closing the door on the risks of court. That might not be what you are looking for: maybe you really just want a fight, but if I can help get it sorted instead then my phone number is 01223 398025 📞.What kinds of impossible situations can mediation resolve? Here are two which inspired me:•An international engineering team were trying to define the specification for a type of road vehicle. One engineer was adamant that it must be tall enough to stand up inside; another was certain that such height would make it dangerous on the Autobahn. They were each so outraged that they stood shouting at each other across the conference table. It seemed impossible: one said high, one said low. The mediator asked “What is the average height in your country?”. They fell silent. The German looked down across the table and the guy from Japan looked up. The vehicle specification was agreed at a height tall enough for the average Japanese person to stand up straight and low enough to be stable at high speeds.•Two start-up founders were allocating shares in their new company. Each wanted 51%. Neither would budge, each was willing to walk away, and without both the project would fail. The mediator asked “Why 51%?” One said he deserved more money, the other said she needed control. A special class of non-voting shares was created giving extra dividends to one and leaving control with the other.Take 15 minutes to tell me your impossible scenario: https://calendly.com/rutheverard/quick-chat
