With every workday, I love connecting with individuals and work teams who are struggling to care for themselves in physical, mental, emotional and spiritual ways. I love it because I value vulnerability as a human quality, and I think that it is in vulnerable places that we find reflective moments full of self awareness, connection and clarity for change. My work in the world of wellness has helped hone a knack for human connection and a novel approach to help people make small, lasting changes that lead to contentment and joy.My professional eye keeps looking for opportunities for managers to foster a climate and culture of wellness and wellbeing for the employees, particularly in the Cornell Community. There is always work to be done in this arena, and whether with individuals or work groups, I want to make a difference in a person's life. The work I currently do, and that I hope for in the future, is "purpose work" and it is is professionally and personally fulfilling and so many levels.
