+ In this week-long event, selected attendees are exposed to learning opportunities such as a hackathon, and amazing speakers, all while getting assigned to a mentor and cohort to learn with!+ My cohort won first place in the hackathon by coding front and back end based on a prompt given to us!

+ Working in the command and data handling (CDH) subteam to create software for the satellites Experiment for X-Ray Navigation,Characterization, and Timing, and IMpulsive Phase Rapid Energetic Solar Spectrometer. Both satellites are predicted to be fullyoperational and in space by 2024.+ The CDH subteam is responsible for storing data collected from sensors, testing with all sorts of serial protocols, constructingsoftware that can adapt to a variety of missions, and satellite self-recovery.

+ Improved self-efficiency in computer science within a cohort of 12 other students+ Worked on technical and behavioral skills such as coding problem solving, and building a growth mindset

+ Taught 30 students data structures such as arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, binary search trees, and hash tables+ Graded assignments and was involved in creating labs, projects, and exams

+ Won a scholarship to participate and attend GHC+ Attended workshops and one on ones with company partners
