The Thrive Programme® is an evidence based, proven and empowering training programme that teaches you how to take control of their life and learn skills and strategies to thrive. The six week training programme does not involve therapy or counselling and is very easy to understand and follow. The course addresses, but is not limited to anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, depression, social anxiety, eating disorders and other issues that affect our lives. I do one to one coaching and would be delighted to discuss The Thrive Programme® with you and explain how it works. Please contact me at:ruth.mitchell@thriveprogramme.org or phone me 07952 958463My interest and experience is in child mental health and wellbeing. For the past 10 years I have worked within primary school settings to support children with social, emotional, behavioural and mental health needs. In fact this covers virtually all children at some points in their school life. In trained as a Licenced Thrive Practitioner to gain a greater knowledge and understanding of how children's behaviours are a communication of their needs - both the underpinning theory and practical strategies to support those children to build better coping skills. This transformed my practice for the better and drove me to complete a Train the Trainer course in 2019 and as a Thrive Approach trainer I can support adults working with children to gain better skills, insight and understanding. My focus on mental health and wellbeing has grown and I am now very proud to also be a Licenced Thrive Programme Coach to further build on supporting both adults and children in learning how to take understand and manage their mental health and wellbeing in positive, empowering and healthy ways. I have a particular interest in working with young people and their primary carers and those whose lives are limited by anxiety.
