I am a highly motivated, loyal individual with thirty years experience working in the NHS and private healthcare with an in-depth knowledge of Clinical Governance. I was a successful clinical radiography manager specialising in cross sectional imaging ,service development (including CT and MRI cardiac services). I have experience in major capital equipment procurement within the NHS. Additionally, I have managed general x-ray as well as ultrasound services.I have also worked for GE Healthcare as a MRI sales specialist which has enabled me to develop a more commercial acumen.After setting up and commissioning the Diagnostic Imaging Department at One Ashford Hospital, I was promoted to the position of Director of Clinical Services which enabled me to develop a understanding of the wider hospital environment.This led to a Director of Governance and Support Services role including the management of imaging, physiotherapy and pharmacy.I led on clinical governance through a CQC inspection which saw the hospital achieve a rating of good in its first 15 months.In 2018, I joined Fairlie Healthcare Group. A care home organisation specialising in the nursing care of adults with long term neurological conditions. As the Director of Quality and Clinical Governance, I have introduced a Clinical Governance Framework to all Homes within the group. My ethos is that good governance is at the forefront of all that we do in the services we provide to ensure excellence in nursing and personal care to the Patients who make our Homes their home.I am well organised, hardworking and disciplined; I relish responsibility in a challenging environment.
