I have spent the better part of my career in corporate leadership, with over 14 years at executive level in the parastatal water and postal sectors respectively. I was actively involved in the transformation of the then urban water supplier, WUC in the mid 1990’s to the early 2000’s. I later moved to Botswana Postal Services with the transformation agenda in mind, which organization I left in May 2014 many strides ahead of the earlier years. I have served as a Board Secretary for a substantial part of my career. This experience has earned me several Board appointments, first at the Baobab School Council and the National Development Bank for four and three years respectively and currently at Botswana Agricultural Marketing Board and Fairground Holdings (Pty) Ltd. I have well rounded knowledge and experience in accounting and auditing, business strategic management, transformation and integration and have successfully coordinated myriad business services including strategy, human resources, legal, procurement, information technology, business assurance, governance and compliance and change management. I have initiated, sponsored and provided internal consultancy on key corporate transformational projects. My core strength is on corporate business strategic management with an emphasis on alignment, integration, governance, risk management, results driven approaches to implementation and continuous improvement.I have contributed to the development of the regional water and postal sectors having sat on Committees aimed at regional integration and alignment in both sectors. Passionate about corporate governance and a natural leader and facilitator who thrives on challenge.
