Responsible for bringing innovative, experimental projects to fruition. Working closely with the senior management team to strategically plan; external partners to shape content; the development team to secure funds and our delivery teams to coordinate the logistics of reaching an audience. From artist residencies to community-led festivals I can move fluidly between disciplines and audiences to deliver projects with lasting impact for participants.

Managed the public programmes at one of the UK's leading hands-on science centres. Leading the content development and delivery teams across four varied programming spaces: a planetarium, studio theatre, open access laboratory and food-safe interactive kitchen. Audiences exceeded 250,000 visitors a year and the public programme included daily presenter-led shows and hands-on experiments, adult-only evenings, toddler days, meet the expert sessions and community events co-produced with underserved audiences. Responsible for staff training and development to ensure that our programmes were at the cutting edge of museum engagement.

Liaised with academics, external contractors, creatives and our in-house design team to research content and test new approaches with visitors. Working on four major exhibitions, I developed content for the exhibits and accompanying websites. I was the content lead for 20 new interactive exhibits for a £1.5 million Wellcome Trust funded exhibition, All about us. I devised and implemented the evaluation of this project and compiled the summative report. I led the formative evaluation for the successful Animate It! exhibition, testing prototypes with visitors to inform the software development. As a key-contact for volunteers, I regularly championed their involvement with our activities, training and supervising those recruited.

Leading the front of house facilitator team in the delivery of a varied public programme, delivering shows and activities. This required excellent communication skills and versatility as the size and composition of audiences varied greatly. As a coordinator I devised the day's schedule of events, the daily rota for the delivery team and provided an interdepartmental point of contact during our peak delivery periods, responding to a busy and dynamic operational environment.

Uk-Wide Tour

In 2012 I took on the responsibility of Operations Manager for 'In the Zone', an Olympic-inspired touring exhibition which won Creative Event of the Year 2013. As well as being a key member of the content development team, I led the build, delivery and breakdown of this hi-tech experience during its national tour. Reaching over 90,000 participants at outdoor events during the wettest UK summer on record!
