Early in my educational journey, I observed my peers face a multitude of challenges and barriers as they pursued their academic endeavors. Throughout my life I have developed a passion and inquiry into understanding the challenges many youth and young adults face, how they take place, and how it is possible to uplift their unique goals, strengths, needs, and aspirations in order to create a more nurturing and safe environment.I enjoy applying my knowledge of psychology, mental health, and human development to the realms of education, youth and young adults, government and justice systems. You will find me asking questions, both in Spanish and English, on what young people need, what resources are out there for them, and advocating for them.
