Managed the inductions of 13,000+ staff, giving information about the building and how it facilitates new ways of working. Responsible for ensuring the training and provision of 600 + first aiders and fire wardens in the building as teams moved in floor by floor. 1995 – 2004 BBC General News Service, Assistant Editor - supplying national and international news bulletins and live broadcasts to the BBC's network of local radio stations and nations. Started and developed live ‘two way’ news interview service.

Started my BBC career as a reporter in BBC local radio and worked at the World Service, Millbank and for Breakfast TV. For some time, I was a BBC religious affairs reporter, contributing to the Radio 4 Sunday programme for many years. I trained to be a journalist on a local newspaper and spent three years freelancing which included reporting for newspapers and radio and working in PR. Before that, I was a teacher.
