I have a Bachelors in Marine Science with a concentration in Oceanography and a minor in Applied Mathematics. My interests vary widely though within the science world. I would love to learn more about machine engineering, meteorology, and forestry. I am open to trying new things. While I was an undergraduate, I worked at my universities dining hall, won an innovation award for a back-up buoy system for lobster traps, did volunteer research on phytoplankton in the Indonesian Through-Flow using GIS, studied energy usage at an island lighthouse, and applied my lighthouse experience to lowering energy usage at a local, volunteer-run salmon hatchery.
