Lead nurse for urology. Responsible for teaching current and new staff urology procedures. Ensuring all staff are up to date with procedures and managing education needs of Theatre staff to ensure best practice within the speciality.The management of specialist equipment ordering and liaising with company representatives to ensure seamless supply and best value for money.Operational management of the theatre department, as required by the senior manager. Regularly managing the staff rota, ensuring that the skill mix is appropriate.Managing the minor procedures unit for a six month period.
