Practical Skills • Manage a small team within the DNA department, prioritising work load and urgent submissions, reporting to team leaders, ensuring sound communication between staff and other departments ensuring that strict turnaround times are met. • Trainer of new and current staff in quality controlled procedures. Ensuring all training is documented and evidenced correctly.• Interpretation of DNA profiles - loading to the National Database including single source full or partial profiles, clear full profiles derived from mixtures, interpreting complex mixtures, such as including or excluding a known reference as a contributor.
