Ruth Sheeran established Purple Pumpkin Entertainment in 2008. Purple Pumpkin specialises in the entertainment in Nursing Homes, Day Care Centres, social events for Active Retirement groups and Tea Dances. Treating audiences to the wonderful songs of the 1930's 1940's 1950's and 1960's, from the song books of Jerome Kern, George Gershwin, Cole Porter. and from the repertoire of Judy Garland, Julie London, Ella Fitzgerald to mention but a few. After 3 years Purple Pumpkin continues to brings new and repeat shows to these audiences.For the past three years also, Ruth has also being singing Jazz in various venues in Dublin, An Evening of Jazz in Bewleys, Caberet at Bewleys, La Cerc, The Mercantile, All Jazzed Up at Sweeneys Dame Street and The Green Room.
