Experienced publisher of military history books, currently enjoying the challenge of shaping and building Casemate Group's publishing programme.I started my career at Osprey Publishing, working on illustrated and non-illustrated specialist and popular history titles. After seven years there I then spent a number of years as a freelance editor and author, undertaking writing, editing and project management for a number of clients in the UK and US on a varied array of titles. I joined the Casemate team in 2016.An Oxford-educated historian, I am equally comfortable working on academic or technical tomes as popular history titles and have also written or been named editor for several books. In 2010 I wrote Extraordinary Heroes, in connection with the exhibition – which I also contributed to – of the same name at the Imperial War Museum. Other projects include Explorer of the Mind, The biography of Sigmund Freud, for Andre Deutsch/Carlton, The Illustrated First World War for Illustrated London News Ltd, and The Tank Commander Pocket Manual 1939–45 for Casemate. Earlier edited works include Empires Collide and Alexander the Great.
