Responsible for analysis, design and programming for the High Gain Initiative (HGI) simulation project at NRaD. Analyzed technical concepts and data; and designed, developed, integrated and tested software modules using standard software engineering procedures. Used various software support tools such as the PV-WAVE visualization tool and Framemaker in support of software development and testing activities. Programming was done in FORTRAN 77+ on Sun SPARC architecture in a UNIX environment and used SCCS code management tool.

Participated in design and development of real-time NTDS Link-11 simulation software systems implemented on Data General MV15000 (FORTRAN 77). Led the software design, implementation and test of operator interface function in accordance with DoD-STD-2167A. Developed associated documentation, including System Design Documents (SDDs) and Users Manuals, in accordance with these standards. Participated in remote installation of the system. Provided software support for the initial design and development of a similar system for Link-16.

Provided analysis and programming support for the Torpedo MK 46 Maintenance Reporting System and Reliability Tasks. This software retrieved and stored data concerning torpedo system components and test activity, and analyzed and tracked overall torpedo system performance. Responsible for monthly production and delivery of Non-Ready-For-Issue (Non-RFI) reports of torpedo readiness status, including gathering all data, interacting with the customer, and presenting technical reports. Software was developed on the HP1000 and 3000 systems using a BASIC-related programming language called FRED.
