About Ruth Strong

As a Management Accountant I have designed and implemented processes and reporting systems that enable non financial Managers and Directors to plan strategically and to monitor performance against those plans quickly and effectively. I have advanced MS Excel skills and have worked with Sage 300 ERP, & Attache accounting software in Australia and numerous other accounting software packages in the UK.My passion is empowering stakeholders to perform at their best by providing clear and concise, accurate management information and clearing unnecessary clutter from reports. Timing is key to removing stress and ensuring measured decisions can be made with clear goals against which performance can be effectively measured.I am an excellent communicator both written and verbal, having produced and presented complex financial information to board members on many occassions and assisted non financial managers to assimilated the relevance of that information to their area.I can and do make a positive difference to the organisations I am involved in both commercially and socially I have passion and drive and never stop learning.

Setup and maintain cash flow analysis report on significant variances and preempt potential threats.Routine ActivitiesImport Declarations - check against purchase orders to ensure that the correct duty and GST has been applied and approve for DD by Australian Customs. Manage recording of freight and duty charges in appropriate registers for each State, process and pay freight and duty invoices in a timely manner.Inter-group/company transactions - process all group invoices ensuring accurate and timely recording and payment over multiple currencies, reconciliation of intercompany accounts, netting and contra transactions.Business Analysis ReportsIntroduction of consistent documentation and forms for Payroll, starters, leavers and annual and long service leave projection and cashing out.
