Taking my final steps towards Nanotechnology Master's degree, at Korin Lab for Cardiovascular Nano-Med Engineering, where we design various artificial models for the study of cardiovascular diseases, and combine biological and mechanical approaches to develop innovative solutions.My research focuses on a microfluidic device, or organ-on-a-chip, that allow us to re-create the micro-environment of the brain microvasculature, to induce a pathology in human cells and study the uptake of drugs under realistic flow conditions.With 3 years experience in a medical R&D department, I'm well acquainted with product development procedures, from an idea to the final regulatory approval.I'm looking forward to work in a multidisciplinary environment, in the field of medical devices or innovative technologies.
