The Director of Finance is an Executive Officer for the Institute for Financial Literacy, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit organization incorporated in the State of Maine. The Director of Finance reports to the Executive Director, and is responsible for the implementing the organization's strategic financial objectives as directed by the Executive Director, directs all financial management functions and all financial reporting requirements to ensure optimum utilization of the Institute’s financial resources.

General management of all staff relating to operational issues; including human resource management, information services, facilities management, employee development and workers compensation controls. Oversaw general accounting functions, including AR/AP, account reconciliation, and cash management. Administered all financial management systems, evaluated and integrated information technology applications. Developed highly skilled accounting and financial management team to achieve established objectives. Interacted with the Board of Directors and CEO concerning financial forecasts, reports and strategic planning. Served on the Finance and Investment Committees of the Board of Directors.
