Transferable skills are an interesting beast. I have a background in research and training that encompasses everything from medieval French plays to Excel, Power Platform tools and Python, with detours into legal procedure, theatre and Lean continuous improvement along the way. Whether the challenge is a process that requires a little too much manual intervention, data structures without unique identifiers, or a system that has lost touch with the human who should be driving it, I'm happiest knee-deep in investigations to establish exactly what is happening, and working out a solution I can communicate to everyone from senior managers to the customer affected at the front line.So that's the day job covered... I'm also the person who will join in on projects at the edge of my role, or volunteer to make a difference to colleagues & our communities. That may be achieved by singing at a care home, knitting for a charity partner, or leading a network of parent employees into a new culture of inclusion, give me an environment where I'm appreciated & my values count, and I will make a contribution that repays it all and more.
