Provides specialized, professional, and prompt customer service to members and claimants involved in an automobile accident.Responsible for end-to-end claims handling over the lifecycle of each claim.Partners with internal and external partners to facilitate claims resolution.Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and settles complex non-injury auto claims including liability involving comprehensive, collision, property damage liability, and uninsured motorist property damage, and rental vehicle coverages.Identify coverage concerns, reviews prior loss history, determines and creates Special Investigation Unit (SIU) referrals when appropriate.Resolves claims through proactive problem solving and decision making.Applies knowledge of auto insurance contracts and state laws and regulations to determine applicable coverages and file handling practices that result in fair equitable, and compliant claim settlement.
