I was responsible for increasing participation in sport through the Rainbow Laces campaign and researching minority student experiences through focus groups. I wrote agendas and minutes for board meetings, as well as being involved in organising awards night and doing miscellaneous tasks around the office. I sat on the Athletic Union Finance Committee.

I provided one-to-one support for children with disabilities to go on weekly trips to attractions across the East of Scotland. The children were able to try new things and socialise with others during the summer holidays, whilst their parents got a break from their normal role as carers.

I coached younger gymnasts during squad sessions. This helped me to gain a better understanding of the importance of adapting to a gymnast's age and stage of learning, since my main club runs adult sessions. I was also mentored for my UKCC Level 2 trampoline coaching qualification at this time.

I coached school-aged children during my university summer holiday. The children were recreational gymnasts, although some took part in local competitions. There were up to 6 children on the trampoline which I was coaching.
