I am a dedicated Civil Engineering graduate student at Michigan Technological University, specializing in structural engineering with a strong passion for bridge design and construction. My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Jiangxi University of Science and Technology and hands-on experience through various internships and research assistantships.Currently, I contribute to the revision of MDOT bridge load ratings as an intern at the Center for Technology and Training, where I apply industry standards and methodologies to ensure accurate bridge assessments. I also bring experience from a prior role with the Ministry of Infrastructure, where I performed structural analysis, detailed engineering designs, and conducted on-site project inspections. My technical skills include proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, PROKON, Mastan, and AASHTOWare Bridge Rating, which I use to approach structural challenges with a practical and detail-oriented mindset. I have also worked on diverse projects, ranging from rubber-modified asphalt research to hydrological modeling using ArcGIS and HEC-HMS.I am actively involved in engineering communities such as the National Society of Black Engineers and the Society of Women Engineers, which allows me to grow my professional network and stay updated with the latest industry trends. I look forward to connecting with like-minded professionals and exploring opportunities to make a meaningful impact in the field of structural engineering.
