I'm in my element when I'm curating unique retreat experiences that blend wellness with fun and adventure, which started as a hobby and is now a business with a purpose.     After creating unforgettable retreats around the world over several years, I've both experienced and seen first-hand the benefits hitting pause on life can have on a person. I believe what makes 'my kind of retreats’ so successful is the itineraries are carefully thought through and designed, the locations are off the beaten path and you can dip in and out of as much or as little of the itinerary as you wish. Whether that be to join us on a guided hike, or enjoy the daily yoga/pilates, or explore the local area, or simply relax and unplug with a great book, or work on your business plan with a G&T by the pool (there is always a pool and there is always gin, albeit optional).     It was great to be back at Informa Plc, this time researching and producing a series of brand new content rich programmes to add customer value to their large-scale exhibition. This included a bi-annual print exhibition in Harrogate; the Cross Media Live event at the London Business Design Centre, plus a 2 day programme with 5 parallel streams and over 100 speakers. During this time, I also produced the content for the launch of ‘The World Print Summit’ at London ExCeL consisting of 20 parallel sessions and 75 speakers from around the World. I also thoroughly enjoyed launching another brand new event for Informa with the support of the Prince's Trust on ‘Inspiring Youth into Print’. This inaugural event received fantastic feedback from the industry and students alike, long may it continue.

    In the run up to the Olympics, my role as '2012 Project Manager' was to create, effectively market and sell Olympic themed corporate hospitality packages to new clients. After introducing the MD of Juice to Hedsor House, a stunning venue close to the Olympic rowing site, we successfully partnered with Hedsor and provided bespoke Olympic packages for new and existing clients, complete with our tailor made service, divine catering, live screenings of all the action, music and live entertainment. Feedback from these events has been excellent.We were also shortlisted for an opportunity via the CompeteFor website to manage talent during Games time. Sadly, the opportunity was withdrawn and it was decided that LOCOG would manage this themselves.Working for Juice Live Communications on this particular project has been a great experience.
