As a motivated individual, I enjoy dedicating myself to my studies towards developing my career in the field of Life Sciences. My commitment towards pursuing Life Sciences has continued through my past and current education, where I have applied myself continuously to excel in each program. In 2019, I graduated Grand River Collegiate Institute with Honours and am pursuing my Bachelor in Life Sciences, majoring in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Waterloo. I am currently completing the Fast-Track Biotechnology Technicians Diploma at Conestoga College. Along the way, I have acquired many skills that will benefit my performance in a research lab. Working both individually and in partnerships, I am able to apply the appropriate techniques in the scientific labs to perform each experiment to the utmost accuracy. Depending on each laboratory experiment, I can perform various techniques such as micro pipetting, preparing an SDS-page gel, and establishing aseptic technique for experiments. From both past and continuous experience with performing and presenting experiments, I have a strong understanding of how to present the results of a lab and how to document each component necessary in a Laboratory Document.
