Ruth had the opportunity to engage with two lines of business in PC Bank and The Mobile Shop (TMS). In PC Bank she assisted with the treasury operational processes for GIC and Securitization, which involved managing the GIC transactional system, Portfolio Plus, while maintaining positive relationships with brokers and trust managers. She processed transactions for interest accruals, commissions, redemptions, payments and month-end journal entries in SAP and was able to recommend enhancements and automate manual activities reducing process time by 20%.At TMS, she supported 80% of every internal control report by gathering data from MS Dynamics, RQ4 (PoS system), MicroStrategy, and bank transactions. She implemented an AR dashboard which closed gaps in the billing process while complying with contract terms and eliminated losses and disputes.

The Mobile Shop (TMS) offers plans with all Canadian wireless providers and selection of latest mobile phones with location in Loblaws stores around Canada. Ruth monitored daily conciliation processes between cash, credit cards, debit cards, till and bank deposits to settle daily differences between cash-in and cash-out figures for 174 stores. As a result, she improved the cash control conciliation, which allowed to determine the root cause of the differences outstanding.

Ruth produced and automated monthly financial statements consolidation for 7 banks in Latin America and mapped the alignments for each one in order to create dynamic reports to visualize liquidity, credit risk, profitability and efficiency ratios. Additionally, She supported the Merges and Acquisitions department with due diligence processes for acquisitions of financial institutions and reached the industry's benchmark and analyzed deposits concentration, foreign exchange transactions and operating expenses accuracy.

Considering the product metrics, Ruth developed parametric and flexible models to assess the economic impact of market parameters in liquidity, equity, risk and financial statements and generated metrics to monitor performance.
