Conducts the research, analysis, and formulation of recommendations necessary to prepare reports for a variety of public health projects; conducts health impact assessments (HIAs); plans and designs program evaluation studies, coordinates strategic planning efforts, and/or conducts public health impact assessments related to public policies; completes various special health planning projects in partnership with internal stakeholders and community organizations; attends community meetings and forms relationships with key community leaders and stakeholders; makes presentations before various groups and elected bodies; plans new program strategies and prepares scopes of work and budgets; conducts research on public health policy and legislation and forecasts health impacts; considers and analyzes a variety of policy solutions for various public health problems; may oversee subordinate work as project lead; and other duties as assigned.

Coordinator for local Strengthening Families Collaborative aimed at reducing child abuse and neglect. Able to set goals, manage time and communicate effectively to more than thirty diverse local agencies plus statewide and national partners. Consistently able to identify resources, organize tasks, delegate responsibilities, analyze strategies and monitor progress of working groups. Experience writing proposals and applying for grant funding.
