Since graduating, I have been working in pensions administration. I have gained significant experience in many aspects of the business and have gradually taken on more responsibility. I have administered a wide range of pension schemes, used a variety of administration systems, managed staff, liaised with clients, and achieved PMI qualifications. I have worked on various projects balancing major responsibilities against providing a high quality day-to-day administration service.I have a sound practical knowledge of Final Salary (FS), Career Average Revalued Earnings (CARE) and Defined Contribution (DC) schemes.I am working towards my Advanced Diploma in Retirement Provision (ADRP). Because of my heavy workload over the past few years, I have been unable to take further examinations. However, I believe Continuing Professional Development to be important, and intend to resume my studies in the future.As a team leader, I believe I create a positive working environment in which staff are motivated, productive, and happy in their work. I have a strong work ethic which filters down to my team.I have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and take great pride in providing first-rate customer service. I also have good IT skills, and am conscientious and dependable. I am an enthusiastic, energetic, flexible and sociable team player. I am a quick learner and can work either on my own initiative or as part of a team. I thrive in a busy and fast-paced environment, working well under pressure.I believe my career to date has demonstrated a high degree of competence, motivation, commitment and reliability (in over seven years I have yet to have a sickness absence) and I am ambitious to further my career when I feel I have the necessary experience and the opportunity arises.
