Ruth is an MD, MPH and board certified in pediatrics. In addition to office- based pediatrics, previous patient care responsibilities included annual exams and family planning, STD evaluation and treatment, and HIV testing/evaluation and education in response to community needs. Collaboration is one of Ruth's basic professional tenets. Multidisciplinary input produces hybrid vigor and facilitates new ideas and approaches to persistent and pervasive problems.Teamwork, continuing education and growth is a must in Ruth's personal and professional lexicon. Ruth's professional interests tend toward epidemiology, infectious diseases, health equity, social and environmental justice and sustainability, and 3D bioprinting. Her personal and professional goals reflect the desire to promote evidence-based efforts to improve overall population and environmental health.
