About Ruth Hill
An inspiring communicator with a diverse skill set, I write, direct and perform workshops and theatre, as well as writing plays, flash fiction and educational resources. I co-wrote "Talking to Children about Race" with Loretta Andrews (published SPCK), wrote "From King to Queen" as part of a project with Silver Salisbury and Celebrating Age Wiltshire, and have just facilitated a project group publishing a community anthology for Calne Wordfest's Writers' group available at https://tinyurl.com/3vx8fyyc My background is in teaching, in both mainstream and Special Educational Needs and I have an MEd. I'm a Trustee of Calne Wordfest and I tutor young people from KS2 - KS5.I currently work in community arts, theatre and as a facilitator in a range of youth and intergenerational settings. I am passionate about the power of storytelling, the universal benefits of creativity and enabling people to find and use their voice.
