Technologies: Java/Struts, JSP, WebSphere, Oracle and Teradata.• Responsible for the infrastructure, design and development of a hybrid MVS – Unix solution from an MVS only environment. The new system included the addition of a Web UI that allowed clients to import data and activate or suspend processes, and view batch process statistics. These applications access and maintain data in over 250 tables and views, and require an extensive knowledge of SQL. • Provided direct client support through application help desk, data tracking and analysis and ad hoc reporting.• Designed, developed and supported a Business Objects Plug-In application in PowerBuilder to allow clients to perform functions not available within Business Objects itself.• Assumed the responsibility for completing the development of a planning system written in Excel VBA. Subsequently re-engineered this application in PowerBuilder.
