As Administrative Coordinator of the Al Hirschfeld Free Health Clinic, I oversaw and managed all the administrative and day-to-day operations of the clinic. I also handled the clinic's budget as well as provided accounting details to the finance department.I worked closely with the Manager of Health Services and the Medical Director in planning the schedule, as well as generating ideas for special projects and campaigns. I played an instrumental role in transitioning the clinic to an electronic medical system, helping train staff and setting up the electronic base and infrastructure to operate. I also streamlined and organized operations and procedures, by creating manuals and a variety of databases.

During my time at Jordan and Hamburg, LLP, I worked with a variety of attorneys, providing them with assistance and clerical work, such as filing, taking dictation through dictaphone, proofreading documents, preparing documents for review and approval, as well as receiving clients and answering phones. I also supported the secretarial and paralegal team.

The World of Hibernia was an award-winning quarterly publication, on all things Irish. As the circulation manager, I oversaw the complete worldwide subscription base of the magazine. I worked closely with the publisher on increasing our readership, through projects and campaigns, as well as attending special business events and expos and handling other logistics for our NY location. I provided key administrative support to the staff, including senior-level staff, in the New York and Dublin offices. I also managed customer support issues from our subscribers. I was also responsible for sourcing, hiring and training support staff.

While short-lived, my employment at Cadogan Publications, Inc. was an extremely productive time. As administrative assistant, I answered phones as well as manned the reception desk. I worked into late hours providing full support to an entire team, which included the publishers, editorial staff and sales staff, all striving to meet deadlines. I managed several projects a day while maintaining my daily duties. Impressed with my work and dedication, I was quickly promoted to Circulation Manager at their sister publication. I was also invited by the editorial staff to research and contribute to the publication.
