www.vbic.org.auI was responsible for managing the implementation of the Victorian Biomedical Imaging Capability (VBIC) business plan and the reporting requirements to the Victorian Government (Department of Business and Innovation).- Primarily responsible for the financial management of a $24M strategic project fund: coordinated the allocation of resources and monitored expenditure against budget and time frames according to the VBIC business plan. - Worked directly with VBIC node directors, stakeholders and government officials for quarterly reporting. Received the “Best reports 2012” award for timely delivery of the reports.- Initiated several strategic planning meetings and prepared research funding proposals focusing on a one-team approach within Victoria. Created a 2-year strategic plan including detailed activities with target/goals and clearly listed responsibilities. - Developed VBIC annual reports for 2011 and 2012: reporting VBIC activities to founding partners, participating researchers, the Department of Business and Innovation and the general public.- Developed MRI safety and MRI operator training guidelines for 'Research only 3T MRI facilities' covering topics such as clinical MRI safety, reporting incidental findings and Quality Control and Assurance.
