Demonstrated skills in auditing as an Accredited Assessor with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission, working in a team conducting performance assessments of Aged Care facilities.

This was a volunteer role with the Australian Volunteer Program. My task was to research the similarities and differences between the Nepali and Australian VET systems and develop resources to support Australian Volunteers working in VET in Nepal. In the process I developed a framework that enables the comparison of two VET systems, an invaluable resource for the the AVI program enabling the comparison of the Australian VET system with any other VET system in the world.As a remote volunteer I applied strong research skills, project management and time management skills.

My partner and I worked in the Municipal office in Tamghas, in Western Nepal, to improve sanitation and waste management systems with a particular focus on the management of plastic waste. Our 12 month contract was sadly cut short due to COVID-19.

This role involved planning and leading audits and making recommendations about compliance in line with the VET Quality Framework and the National Code for CRICOS providers.I was engaged as a Staff Auditor from 2013-2015 and a Panel (Contract) Auditor 2015-2020.
