As the Marketing and Events Manager, or Marketing and Events Marra as we like to say, I am solely responsible for the full implementation of all marketing strategies, plans and processes for Creative North and it's partner brands. Creative North is an innovative and futuristic brand designed purely to celebrate all creative and digital media businesses within the North East and wider region. At Creative North, we want to stop talented people of the North East leaving for work in London or the likes, and to bring businesses and opportunities together with people. I work alongside industry experts such as IPA, UK Trade and Investment and FSB working to meet our vision; to make the North East's creative and digital sector equal to London... If not better.Also, the driving force and Event Manager for GetDigital North East, the North East's largest digital and tech showcase of our regions top businesses.

As the Sunderland Engagement Support Officer, I was responsible for planning, implementing and managing recruitment for up and coming courses in the North East and surrounding areas. Working alongside key strategic partners and stakeholders I was also in control of approaching businesses to understand and to support with their recruitment needs, placing apprentices within businesses across a variety of sectors. Using my extensive marketing experience and qualifications, I also supported with promotions and engagement strategies driving the business forward. dramatically increasing my centre activity maximising income. In the short space of time I worked at Learning Curve Group, I implemented new processes and strategies increasing productivity, introducing a smoother and more structured approach to various departments as well as my own.
