I have a passion for people. I believe in our unique capacities to make a difference in our world-- because it matters that we do. And I love building community (I also love high mountains, challenging adventures and my family, but that's another bio...). Life, work and community are the three areas of emphasis for my coaching and consulting practice. I assist clients to develop a clear vision of where they want to be, and help them re-engage joyfully in their work and their lives. 25+ years working in public/private collaboration, community vision building and within government have cultivated insights around the unique challenges of building a 'movement' at work, in our towns, in our lives. As a coach, I especially enjoy supporting transitions for mid-career adults as well as young adults preparing to take the next step forward in their lives.Additional professional offerings include Mindfulness and Self-Compassion trainings for individuals and organizations: 'Be Brave!'--a bi-annual workshop and retreat for women at Islandwood, Bainbridge Island, WA; the Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™, Dare to Lead™ workshops, based on the curriculum of Dr. Brene´ Brown; and the 'Culture in Action™' process for teams and organizations.Specialties: Mindfulness and Self-Compassion (MSC) training, IEQ9 Enneagram Personality Assessment Tool; leadership coaching for individuals and teams; life and transition coaching; the Daring Way™ and Rising Strong™ workshops for men and women; women's retreats; Dare to Lead™ skills training for individuals and within organizations.
