I am a driven and innovative Biostatistician in Training and Former University Instructor with a passion for health research. Armed with a Master's Degree in Actuarial Science and currently pursuing an MSc. in Biostatistics at Stellenbosch University, South Africa, I bring a wealth of experience in using R and Stata to manipulate data, and writing scientific manuscripts using Latex. While my background is in Actuarial Science, my passion for using Mathematics to solve real lifeproblems that often arise in the health/medical fields such as validation of the effectiveness of newdrugs, or procedures, or estimate the survival rate of patients undergoing certain treatments, hasseen me land an opportunity to do my Second Master at the MSc. in Biostatistics at StellenboschUniversity.
