I am an experienced Purchase Executive with a demonstrated history of working in the biotechnology industry. I was always fascinated with the commercial aspects of the biotechnology industry. After graduation, I joined a genomics company where I looked after day-to-day operation activities like collection and processing of samples, sending results to clients and forwarding queries to respected departments. I worked on Sanger Sequencing projects. Value of systems and processes, attention to detail and time management, thinking out of the box and yet always keeping the fundamentals in place – these and many other qualities I honed during my time there.After joining the purchasing department, I evaluated suppliers regarding quality, value, delivery capabilities and service. I foresaw demand, planned ahead, built, and maintained relationships, negotiated contracts, released payments, and ensured the smooth functioning of the organization. Currently, I finished my MBA at the University of Ottawa. The MBA has been invaluable to my professional growth, and I am eager to re-enter the professional sphere and apply my newfound qualifications and knowledge to the job.
