Realises commercial success through a challenging approach, creating high involvement and trust, building strong internal & external partnerships on all levels. Some relevant achievements:Business Development: Start up a process for the development of a special type of mct oil for the NL production location. After 2 years product development time we achieved first business in Europe, later Global KAM with annual business of approximately €6 million.Develop businessplan: prepare & execute market introduction of 2 specialties with main effects savoury flavour enhancement, sodium reduction & phosphate substitution.By contacting close to 100 prospects over Europe I proved that the flavour enhancer had no future within EU, mainly due to specific labelling requirements.Cross-selling: Degussa delivered already gelatine to the Dutch confectionery industry. Due to take-over of a Spanish company we were able to deliver glazing oils as new product. Based on our existing partnership with the Dutch confectionery industry we were able to discuss in-depth with the R&D department from our prospects and could develop a countertype that worked. As a result we were delivering the nr. 1 and nr. 2 confectionery producers in The Netherlands within 2 years. This was the biggest success outside Spain and meant I won the one and only price that was given to a Sales person in my time @ Degussa.
