As Mechanical Design Engineer at AAE I did mechanical design of high tech machines. The design work included every aspect of machine design from early layout work for possible projects up to the creation of mechanical drawings. Many of the machines I worked on included the offset and flexo printers developed by AAE.

During my master's thesis I'm doing research on low frequency noise localisation. I therefore investigate the differences between Acoustic Holography and BeamForming and try to develop a new processing method possibly reducing the required minimum amount of measurements.

For my internship, which is part of the masters program of mechanical engineering at the TU/e, I went to the DTU. During my three months stay I did research on Parametric Amplification with a doubly clamped beam as test subject. My research was on the amplification of the amplitude of a base-excited doubly clamped beam by adding parametric excitation at twice the first eigenfrequency of the beam.

My function was to organize activities for the members of the association, such as a weekend for the younger members and a party for over 600 people. I also founded a youth board, some sort of committee in order for young members to organize their own activities under supervision.
