I'm a driven and wide oriented spatial designer with a predilection for contemporary architecture.In my work I combine a strong conceptual-theoretical approach in designing with a pragmatic means of realization and co-operation.As a generalist in the building process I initiate, design and develop project from idea to realization.I see it as a personal challenge to make a team of people rise above itself every time i'm involved, with satisfied and proud clients as a result.My projects often display forms of reductionism and aesthetic minimalism, focussing on strong spatial expressions and refinement in details and materialization, posing a specific and unique answer to the questions of a specific context. Depending on the assignment materials, building methods and techniques are explored and translated to a contemporary design in which sustainability is a basic starting point. A project may look good on paper but, when designed well, it will look, feel and function even better in reality. True sustainability is realized when a project creates added value to the life of its users, to the object itself in terms of market value and to the environment it is situated in. This what makes 'building' into 'Architecture'.
