About Mark Ruvald Pedersen
I am a motivated and easy-going engineer with full-stack experience – from hardware development, programming, operating systems, processor design and parallel application development, algorithm design and compiler theory. I think this has given me a Bigger Picture which allows me to find creative and novel solutions to problems. Thus I am more a fan of concepts (analysis, decomposition, theory, algorithms) than current technologies (tools, languages, libraries).Personal and professional growth is important to me. Personally I am motivated by problems that has significance for real people. Professionally I put emphasis on well-architected software or hardware solutions and can apply theory to optimize these.My interest sparked at an early age haven been given an electronics kit as a Christmas gift. This carried over to elementary school, where I learnt Visual Basic as my first programming language. Up through high-school and until today, this has provided me with knowledge within a wide array of topics.These days I spend most of time studying, hacking and hiking about in Zealand and Scania (Sjælland og Skåne).My ambition is to keep my workdays interesting; be it working on a problem or improving knowledge and skill.
