Technical duties: - Make sure all equipment in computer labs/libraries is secure and working. - Pull broken equipment (printer, computer, mouse, monitor, scanner, etc.) from labs/libraries and replace them with working equipment. - Assist with diagnosis and repair of broken equipment.- Assist with disposing of old, outdated equipment and installing and testing new equipment. - Be responsible for keeping all equipment locked and secure. - Maintain the organization of spare equipment in storage closets. - Assist with troubleshooting and repair of all printers in Labs/Libraries.Online organization:- Learn to use a web-based system which tracks all staff requests and various tasks, along with all equipment and facilities issues, and supply amounts in all computer labs/libraries. - From this system, organize shift duties based on pre-set priorities. - Maintain a wiki (collaborative online system) to keep procedures updated and organized.
