Rafael Andrade is originally from Rio de Janeiro, but his professional activities are based in São Paulo. He is a Ph.D. Candidate and holds a Master's Degree in Business Law from FGV Direito SP. Rafael is an adjunct professor in LL.M. courses at INSPER and IBMEC, both in São Paulo. Currently at NYU School of Law, Rafael is pursuing the Master of Laws (LL.M.)Rafael worked as an associate at L. Dias Advogados, a boutique law firm that focuses on corporate law and capital markets. Prior to his private practice, Rafael was an advisor to the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM)'s Board, and worked as a technical assistant at CVM's Office of Public Company Supervision. He holds an extension in Advanced Accounting in IFRS from FIPECAFI and won the XV and XIX ANBIMA Capital Markets Awards for his Master’s and Ph.D. research projects.
